Truhlárna is a premium workshop in Jílové u Prahy, founded in 2014 by Petr Šilhánek - an economist with an MBA who switched from banking finance to carpentry. The philosophy is 0.1 mm precision, in-house manufacturing and installation, no subcontracted work.
The workshop is based in Březová-Oleško, with production at the První Jílovská site. The team covers the whole cycle: 3D design, CNC manufacturing, final surface finishing and installation. No subcontractors - the owner considers this key to quality.
What sets Truhlárna apart
- A managerial approach to craft. Šilhánek spent years at Caterpillar Financial, and brings those economic and organisational habits into carpentry production.
- Own installation team. No external installers - everything is done by an in-house crew that knows the project’s details from the design stage.
- Positioned as “the best in Prague”. It comes at the highest price. Prices start at 300 thousand for a mid-size kitchen, with premium projects exceeding 800 thousand.
“When you visit a carpenter who has a BMW i7 parked outside, you don’t know how many people he’s convinced before you. When you visit a workshop with 17 machines, you see exactly what it will do for you.” - Petr Šilhánek, founder
